Ciężcy dragoni 2 pułku Królewskiego Legionu Niemieckiego/ 2nd Heavy Dragoon Rgt of the King's German Legion

W poprzednim wpisie zawarłem notatkę, że niektóre malowania figurek po prostu się nie udają. Na szczęście są też takie, które - wręcz przeciwnie - niemal same wychodzą nadzwyczaj dobrze.
Tak było z ciężkimi dragonami z pudełka Warlorda.
In the previous post, I made a note that some of the painting figurines simply fail. Fortunately, there are also those that - on the contrary - almost theyselves paints extremely well.
This was the case with heavy dragons from Warlord's box.

Z uwagi na fakt, że mogę być z nich dumny, to trochę się rozpiszę i przedłożę dużo dokumentacji zdjęciowej z prac i ostatecznego efektu.
Wykonałem ich na lata 1809-1812, czyli pokrótce w bikornach. Warlord wiąże się z wieloma pomyłkami, w tym historycznymi. Pierwszą są tylko dwie pozy koni. Spróbowałem stanąć naprzeciw tej niedogodności i pociąłem nieco pęcin, sklejając je na powrót w bardziej czy mniej przypadkowej kolejności , zmieniając paru konikom pozycje.
Due to the fact that I can be proud of them, I will write a little and submit a lot of photographic documentation of the work and the final effect.
I made them for the years 1809-1812, which is briefly in bikorns. Warlord is associated with many mistakes, including historical ones. The first are only two poses of horses. I tried to face this inconvenience and cut the chisels a bit, gluing them back in more or less random order;), changing positions for a few horses.

Podstawowe barwy położone.

Dalsze postępy. Zdecydowałem się na wykonanie pnia drzewa, przez który przeskakuje pierwszy szereg jeźdźców. Miało to dodać dynamiki pozom i urozmaicić podstawkę.

Tu jeden jeździec ma pałasz na temblaku i kitę w pokrowcu, drugi zielona apaszkę i kitę bez pokrowca.
Here one rider has a sabre on a sling and a plume in the cover, the other has a green scarf and plume without the cover.

Dowódca i trębacz - mam nadzieję, że wyróżniają się na tle innych. Koń trębacza po prostu się udał.
Commander and trumpeter - I hope they stand out from the rest. The trumpeter horse just went well.

Jeden z poniższych stracił kitę. Widać fryzury, będące napóźniejszą wersją harcapów. Często były pudrowane.
One of the following lost his plume. You can see the hairstyles that are the latest version of the pigtails. They were often powdered.

Z zabandażowaną głową, zatem bikorn nie zmieścił się na nią. Można zauważyć różne rodzaje spodni.

Jeden z szeregowych ma na głowie furażerkę. Spróbowałem wykonać różne przebarwienia na końskich pyskach .

Skróciłem lufy karabinków, nadając im wymiary bliższe historycznym.
I shortened the barrels of carbines, giving them dimensions closer to the historical ones.

Udało mi się zrobić bardzo dobre zdjęcia. Próbowałem później, i nie były już tak dobre.

Oddział zdobył pierwszą nagrodę w swojej skali w XIII Konkursie Modelarskim Forum Strategie.

I was able to take very good pictures. I tried later, and they were not so good.
The unit won the first prize on its scale in the 13th Painting Competition of Forum Strategie.

Francuski 2 pułk huzarów / French 2nd Hussar Regiment

 

Do armii francuskiej dołączył trzeci rodzaj broni: kawaleria. Tu w postaci 2 pułku huzarów. Już wcześniej wykonałem tę jednostkę, ale w mniejszej skali: https://miniwarsy.blogspot.com/2019/09/huzarzy-francuscy-french-hussars.html

Widocznie podoba mi się zestawienie barw tego pułku. Nie bez znaczenia jest też to, że przez długi czas walczył w Hiszpanii.

Przedstawiłem ich w umundurowaniu kampanijnym, z pokrowcami na czakach, niepełnym wyposażeniem w mentyki, dołmany i szabeltasy; z różnymi typami spodni i rajtuz. Szkoda, że kołpaków kompanii wyborczej nie udało mi się zrobić w pokrowcach.

Musiałem nieco przekonwertować żołnierzy - sporządzając baranek na dołmanach, aby imitowały mentyki.

Apparently, I like the color combination of this regiment. It is also important that it fought in Spain for a long time.
I presented them in a campaign uniform, with covers on their shakos, incomplete equipment with pelisses, dolmans and sabretaches; with different types of pants. It is a pity that I could not make the kolpacks of the election company in covers.
I had to convert the soldiers a bit - preparing a fur on the dolmans to imitate pelisses.

 

Czasem mam tak, że figurki po prostu same się udają ładnie pomalować. A czasem jest tak, że niezależnie od poziomu starań nie wychodzi tak, jakby się chciało. Posiadam kawalerię w 28mm, którą można przypisać do pierwszej kategorii, jednak obecnie pokazywana jednostka należy raczej do tej drugiej. Jakość wykonanych zdjęć także nie pomaga w odbiorze jej wyglądu. Cóż, taka przypadłość..

Sometimes it is so that the figures simply manage to paint nicely themselves. And sometimes it is that regardless of the level of effort it does not come out as I would like. I have a 28mm cavalry, which can be assigned to the first category, but the unit shown belongs rather to the second. The quality of the photos taken also does not help to perceive its appearance.
