wybór padł na największy kaliber: samego Cesarza. Moje wyobrażenie Jego
Osoby było podzielone pomiędzy wizerunkiem spod Borodino, a pozą z
obrazu Davida:
One day, almost a long time ago, I felt an overwhelming desire to commit myself a commander-in-chief in the BW-N system and my choice fell on the largest caliber: the Emperor himself. My image of His Person was divided between the picute from below Borodino and the pose from the painting of David:

nie być z własną wyobraźnią na bakier postanowiłem połączyć obie wizje,
nie zważając na trudności, tudzież obniżenie poziomu estetyki (Cesarz
wybaczy... ).
Do projektu wybrałem figurki z najbardziej dostępnych zestawów francuskiego sztabu doby Empire'u:
Uznałem,
że poczet Napoleona winien być liczny, w tym obecność szefa sztabu
(Berthiera, ew. Soulta?) jak najbardziej na miejscu. Zatem próbowałem zmieścić na
przepisowej podstawce 4x6 cm ile tylko się dało kombatantów. Niemniej
zabrakło mi w planowaniu miejsca dla mameluka Rustama.. ;)
Zacząłem
od figurki najważniejszej, oto ona po modyfikacjach. Prawa ręka
zmieniła położenie, nóżki otrzymały rehabilitowane partie udowe, buciki zostały pożyczone od brygadiera dragonów, płaszczyk posiadł nowoczesny kształt
swej niższej części. W lewą rączkę zamiast rulonu zbędnej biurokracji
włożyłem na siłę rękawiczki. Taraban dla wygody i lansu z zestawu HaTa.
Krzesełko polowe, zatem składane z czego bądź.
In order not to be at odds with my own imagination, I decided to combine both visions, regardless of the difficulties, and lowering the level of aesthetics (Emperor forgive ...).
I selected figurines from the most available sets of the French Empire era staff for the project: Italeri Set 6016 French Imperial General Staff, Zvezda Set 8080 French Napoleonic HQ Staff.
I decided that Napoleon's membership should be numerous, including the presence of the Chief of Staff (Berthier or Soult?) in the most appropriate place. So I tried to fit 4x6 cm on the right stand as many possible veterans. Nevertheless, I lacked space planning for mameluk Rustam ...;)
I started with the most important figurine, here it is after modifications. The right hand changed position, the legs received rehabilitated thigh parts, the shoes were borrowed from a dragoons foreman, the coat had a modern shape of its lower part. Instead of a roll of unnecessary bureaucracy, I put gloves on in his left hand. Tambour for convenience and lance from the HaTa set. A field chair, therefore made of something.
